POSITION PURPOSE

The Associate Pastor plays a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual and emotional well-being of our church members. A clear focus is on equipping and empowering our community to care for one another, fostering a cohesive expression of the Gospel message in both communication and fellowship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Pastoral Care: Providing compassionate support, guidance, and prayer to individuals and families during times of need, ensuring that the love of Christ is tangibly felt within our community.
Church Life Participation: Facilitating a sense of belonging and active engagement among our members, encouraging them to contribute their unique gifts and talents for the greater good of the church body.

REQUIREMENTS

A deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Strong commitment to the principles of King's Baptist Church.
Relevant pastoral experience and a heart for caring for others.
Effective communication skills to articulate the Gospel message with authenticity and empathy.
A passion for fostering genuine relationships and building a cohesive church community.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire others in the journey of faith.
