King's Baptist Church adheres to the Baptist Churches of SA Privacy Policy. An Act of Parliament ‘Privacy Act 2000’ was passed which sets out laws in relation to all personal information collected. This Act has been amended in 2013 with many significant changes effective in March 2014. King's Baptist Church Inc and Baptist Churches of South Australia Inc have committed to compliance with the Act.

Why Does King’s Baptist Church Gather Personal Information?
Personal information is any information that identifies you as an individual. King’s Baptist Church collects personal information for a variety of purposes, such as:
• Church Membership registration and listings;
• Church Directories
• Volunteer and leadership development;
• Program and service registration, administration and delivery;
• Counselling and prayer support; and
• Church administration
How Does King’s Baptist Church ensure privacy protections?
We collect, use and disclose personal information only for the purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate for the administration and management of a church organisation. Access to your personal information is on a “need to know” basis. We inform our church personnel and volunteers of the importance of protecting your personal information. We also advise all church volunteers that personal information obtained during their service cannot be used for any purposes other than authorised church ministry. We will maintain adequate physical, procedural and electronic security with respect to offices and information storage facilities (e.g. filing cabinets) so as to protect personal information against such risks as unauthorised access, use, disclosure or destruction.
Tithing and Offering Information
Tithing and Offering at King’s Baptist Church is primarily anonymous however any information that may identify a person such as EFT payments are strictly confidential and no paperwork is collected or stored with his information.
